Introduction

The computer algebra system asir can use servers, which support the OpenXM protocols, as plugin modules. The interface functions to call these servers are read by loading the file `xm'. This document explains these interface functions for asir.

As to technical details on the OpenXM protocols, see `openxm-eg.tex' at `$(OpenXM_HOME)/doc/OpenXM-specs'.

Enjoy mathematics on your computer.
